Much though I have tried to read it I had trouble getting into the book. The whole adaptation of "Anne of Green Gables" and "Pride and Prejudice" lingo was cute at first, but it began to wear me down before I even got half way.

the way the book was written (talking) was intriguing and fun- my dearest, etc. However, the plot was not exciting enough to keep me hooked.

I love Jane Austin and she I think that time period permutes great feminine behavior
so naturally when i picked up this book I naturally related to Polly, I would not take things as far as being a match maker but its fairly cute none the less.
