Nice introduction to python and programming.

I like the fact that python's cross platform so I can run it on Ubuntu.

Be sure to check out the author's website where you can download the code.

Thanks to this book I can, ever so slightly, understand how code is structured and run. Some fun examples allow you to have some hands on success.
