As beautiful and flawless on the outside as he was damaged and tormented on the inside. He was a bright, scorching flame that singed me with the darkest of pleasures. I couldn't stay away. I didn't want to. He was my addiction... my every desire... mine. My past was as violent as his, and I was just as broken. We'd never work. It was too hard, too painful... except when it was perfect. Those moments when the driving hunger and desperate love were the most exquisite insanity. We were bound by our need. And our passion would take us beyond our limits to the sweetest, sharpest edge of obsession..

The jealousy in the book is what hooked me . Sylvia really made that eye opening and hit home with me. I am really enjoying every thing she has written I have about exhausted all that the library has to offer.... 50 Shades was excellent but Sylvia offers just as much excitement and different angles to issues the characters have.

The crossfire novels are wonderfully written books with amazing descriptions. Sylvia Day has outdone herself with this series. Looking forward to continuing this series, devouring a book per day.

I was very disappointed. I really started skimming thru multiple pages. The sex scenes offered nothing new and got old. Every other paragraph was about how attractive he was. Seriously, we got it - don't have to mention it on every page. The idea that something was going to come up with Nathan is obvious is the first book but instead of making that a focus they just go on dates and have fights and sex. Zzzzzz. There was nothing really interesting about it. I was really hoping she was going to break up with him and go out with Bret and then maybe something interesting might finally happen in that relationship because the Gideon thing got boring. Even Cary got boring. In the first book she was interesting and stood her ground, the second one she was pathetic.

Easy read romance! Eva and Gideon both had traumatic childhoods with far reaching after effects and the best thing the author did was to put them both individually and as a couple in therapy.

Only 3 stars, just so so. A little to much
sex just to fill the pages.

As much as I love the Fifty Shades trilogy, the Slyvia Day 'In You" trilogy was just as good if not better!!

The worst book I've read this year. I had to push through it.

I still consider this series to be a rip off of Fifty Shades, but it's not bad.

Very good author. Continues to have similarities to 50 Shades of Gray, but really enjoyed the book.

It was easy to read and it did not disappoint with the trials and tribulations of the relationship with Gideon and Eva. Also, the steam love scenes are an added bonus. Now waiting for the next book in the series to be available at the library.

Book 2 in the Crossfire trilogy is good. Not as risqué as the 1st book, but still steamy in parts.

Awesome series. Couldn't put it down and can't wait for Entwined With You.

"People get over love. They can live without it, they an move on. Love an be lost and found again. But that won't happen for me. I won't survive you, Eva. I'm obsessed with you, angel. Addicted to you. You're everything I've ever wanted or needed, everything I've ever dreamed of. You're everything. I live and breathe you. For you."
