Marv's hard-boiled narration is nearly perfect in this classic stylish black and white noir-infused crime comic. Marv is a complex character and Miller expertly works the twisty plot from the first panel to the last. This series was adapted into multiple successful Hollywood films.

A gritty noir comic with a violent, fast-paced plot, an insanely cool yet sadistic protagonist, and amazing inkwork. If I remember correctly, I think Miller got an Eisner for his inking for this book. It's a fantastic book, definitely worth your time if you don't mind some blood, violence, nudity, and cursing.
