It is fall which is Nancy's favorite season. She offers to help her parents to rake leaves, but spends more time collecting the beautiful and colorful leaves. She then decides she must do something new and special with these leaves. (I will not give away what that is)

Although Jane O'Connor and Robin Preiss Glasser are given credit on the front cover, O'Connor did not write this book and Glasser only created the front cover. The inside illustrations are created by someone else. The illustrations are colorful and invite a sense of fun. But the writing is most definitely missing the spark you would find in an original Fancy Nancy book. However, the story is still an enjoyable one in which children can learn new words so I can still happily recommend it, especially during autumn for ages 3-7.
