I found the first half of this book quite dull and full of cliches, as if written by numbers, using formulaic methods. I was quite drawn back by this. But I must say that the last hundred pages were better (somewhat) introducing some curve balls and surprises.

Book is set right after the movie took place. Loved the show, the movies and now the books. We get to learn about the characters in a different atmosphere in a different time while, Veronica is putting her crime solving ways to new cases.

Not a mystery fan and not an audiobook mystery fan, but this extension of the Veronica Mars universe was so fun and fast paced and sneaky - I loved it. Bell as narrator really helps you imagine it all in your head!

If you love Veronica Mars, you'll love the books. They have the same sass and wit, but for a more adult audience.

This book was great. I felt like I was watching a really intense episode of Veronica Mars. Thomas and Graham hit the characters' voices square on the head. Great twists, great case.

Great, easy read.

Continues from where the movie left off after the Veronica Mars TV show.

Stays true to the show and characters.
Entertaining and light reading.

I'm not usually a reader of mysteries, but since I loved the t.v. show, and did enjoy the recent movie, I decided to try this. I actually listened to the mp3 audiobook, which is narrated by Kristin Bell.

If you're already a Veronica Mars fan, you really do want to see the movie first, as this novel picks up right where the movie left off. It read just like an episode (maybe 2 or 3) of the series, which I appreciated. I will say that I expected to see a lot more of Logan in the book and that was a disappointment. With that said, I will read the next one.

I reread this book after rewatching the entire series and the 2014 movie. This book could have used some more Logan.

Fun! This reads very much like a season of the TV show, and I think it would most appeal to people who are already fans of that fictional world. I liked it better than the Veronica Mars movie.

I like description, but I feel like this novel went a little overboard with very minute, exact details, including brand names- which at times felt like blatant product placement. I liked the novel, but it improved a lot when I listened to the audio version read by Kristen Bell, she made it seem almost like a play. I think most fans of Veronica Mars will enjoy this book, it's a good continuation of the movie.
