"Boston Detective Jane Rizzoli is on the case of a big game hunter found dead in his apartment, alone with the body of a beautiful white snow leopard he had recently been commissioned to procure and stuff for a high-profile museum in the area. Medical examiner Maura Isles connects the case to a number of seemingly unrelated deaths where the victims have all been found hanging upside down, the hallmark of a leopard's kill. Rizzoli follows the puzzling trail of clues all the way to Botswana, where she uncovers the unsolved mystery of a deadly camping safari four years prior. When she realizes the two cases are connected, Rizzoli must track down the sole survivor of the tragic trip to discover who - or what - is behind these gruesome deaths"-- Provided by publisher.

Two story lines, one in Botswana on an African safari with the travelers being brutally murdered one by one and similar bizarre killings 6 years later in Boston and other states. Rizzoli works hard with Isles to link these cases to each other. Millie, the lone African survivor is persuaded by Rizolli to come to Boston to help solve this mysterious case that comes to a dramatic and surprising conclusion.
Another fast moving, gripping page turner. Very well done and recommended.

This was my introduction to the Rizzoli and Isles series. I really enjoyed it. Now I am going to read book 1, then 2, etc!

It was okay but not one of Gerritsen's best. It felt like the author was desperate to include something about her recent personal experience even if she had to force it into the plot

Combines a murder in South Africa with several ones in the US, the more recent ones in Boston. Just a little too much space given for repetitious information - how tigers kill and how the suspect killed his victims. I liked the setting of the safari where killers get killed. Great ending - keeps the reader guessing about the identity of the murder. The helpless woman - or is she so helpless- identifies the killer when he comes to kill her as well.

Very well done and the moral of the story is....don't go booking a safari holiday on line, direct. Use a reputable travel agent.

Die Again is the 11th title in the Rizzoli and Isles series by Tess Gerritsen. This mystery features a dual story line that takes place in Africa and in Boston, Massachusetts.

The twists and turns keep you guessing, and Gerritsen has done an excellent job providing vivid details and suspense without giving too much away too soon. I found the portions of the mystery that took place in Africa more interesting and fun to read, and Die Again is one of the more enjoyable in the series overall.

I really enjoyed this entry in the Rizzoli & Isles series from Tess Gerritsen. The last couple books in the series were good, but delved a bit into storylines that seemed a bit too supernatural in nature to honestly fit in well to the series. I enjoyed them, but they were a bit more unbelievable. With "Die Again," Gerritsen brings Rizzoli and Isles back on track into a more concrete world.

This was a fast paced read that moved back and forth between a doomed safari trip 6 years earlier in Botswana and present-day Boston where a world famous taxidermist has been found dead, killed in the same manner as the big game he was tasked with stuffing. This novel twisted and turned and I found myself drawn in, especially into the tense scenes in the African bush.

I think my only complaint would be the editing of the book in regards to Isle's birth mom. She plays a somewhat important role in the book, but she felt kind of randomly stuck into the book. I couldn't help but wonder if she was in the book more, but edited out.

Overall, though, this was an entertaining read and I can't wait for the next one to come out.
