The director said he wanted to make "Apocalypse Now" with Vikings. The film stock is constantly dark and foggy, and the under-armored warriours often fight with one hand completely empty, and they have no shields. Other than that ,.. its an 'O.K.' low-budget costumed Quest film. Its uneven, but has some interesting caracters, and intense action sequences. I love historicals, but this one isn't a 'fave'. ( Kev's PICkS: To see how well it can be done, revisit the 1958 classic..."The Vikings", with Kirk Douglas,.. and for some great fun, check out the supurbly crafted sci-fi "Beowolf"-inspired gem..."Outlander".)

This wasn't the worst movie I've ever seen, it is far from being good. I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way. Very predictable but still entertaining.

This movie is for sadist who likes violence. Steiner found his older brother is a bigger retard with an Oedipus complex. Mind numbing movie I wish I did not watch.

A Viking Prince was sent on a dangerous journey over hostile Saxon land to bring back his mystical brother as the new king. Could be edited down to an hour as a pilot of a period series on the new era under the Prince.

Quite gory. Don't really care about the characters.
