This is the second in the series (it began with a Murder of Magpies) that just keeps getting better. Samantha Clair (Sam) is an interesting character--book editor for a small publishing house in London--who is smart, realistic, and filled with just enough sarcasm to be funny. The internal workings of a publishing house and the industry as a whole fill the plot with some twists and turns. Very enjoyable read!

FANTASTIC !!! After the first few pages I was totally engrossed. I did not want to put it down. It is witty, fast moving, action packed, full of mystery and suspense that keeps you guessing until the end. I can't wait until her next Samantha Clair mystery comes out.
