Two teenage boys unwittingly summon an ancient evil entity known as The Blind One by delving into black magic while trying to escape their mundane lives.
Heavy Metal, Zombies and Satanism? With an extra dollop of gore? Awesome! Press play. Woops!? Ring, ring! Hello? The eighties called, they want their cheesy misunderstood teen love script back. Production value reminds me of a made for MTV movie...back in the 90's! Just me, but I couldn't accept that the main characters were "teens" in high school. Then again, it's really difficult to cast teen parts. Unless the actors themselves are teens. Sidetracked!
Also, I couldn't get past the kiwi accent. Imagine a goodfella (Joe Pesci in particular) doing an english accent. Or was it the other way around? Hilarious! I couldn't take anything said in the film seriously. Anyway, just a retread with requisite juvenile sight gags. Nothing to see here, move along.
