"In this ... analysis of personality type, ... [the author] reveals the one simple question that will transform what you do at home, at work, and in life. During her ... investigation into understand[ing] human nature, Gretchen Rubin realized that by asking the seemingly dry question 'How do I respond to expectations?' we gain explosive self-knowledge. She discovered that based on their answer, people fit into four tendencies: upholders, questioners, obligers, and rebels"-- Provided by publisher.

A helpful book in not only showing you the strengths and weaknesses of your own tendency, but, even better, helping you to see how to relate to people who have different tendencies. I came away with useful information on understanding and getting along with friends and family and coworkers who are wired differently.

Oh. My. Gosh. I was reading this book and I saw myself and then my children. The absolute best part about this book is it suggests small ways to adjust your interactions with others (if you know their tendency) to help life and/or work flow more smoothly. And the neat thing is that all the suggestions you can also apply to yourself as well. Highly recommended!
