So far in my searching, this is the most extensive text-ish book on Crochet I have ever found. Everything you will ever need to know is covered in this book and it is written in such a way that it would be a good reference for any crocheter. I have had a lot of experience with crochet and crochet texts, and what I liked about this book is that it presented everything I had already learned in a way that made crochet feel viberant and modern versus dated and old-ladyish (no offense intended). I also discovered a few new cool technieques (i.e. decorative starting chain) as well as some really hot stitches and lacy project. I would call this book a textbook on crochet that is textbook-lite. Check it out, I think you will be happy with it.
