I enjoyed this book. It is a teen romance novel from involving two older teen Muslims. I liked it because it was life like. The characters aren't perfect, they have problems and issues. They have a fight and have to decide what matters more. It depicts the start of the transition from young adult to new adult. For a romance it is very tame (only hand holding) until the last chapter which takes place sometime in the future. Even the last chapter doesn't go into detail but more intimate romance is eluded to.

This book details how two young people (Adam and Zayneb) from half away around the world find each other. Not only is it a love story, but it also features underlying themes of family, education, free speech, death, illness, hatred, and culture. You’ll find yourself cheering for a happy ending throughout.

This book touches on a number of subjects, such as racism, cultural appropriation, chronic illness, death of a loved one, and the meaning of home. Adam and Zayneb are well written characters and the romance between them is heartfelt.

When Adam, an artist hiding a tragic diagnosis, and Zayneb, an opinionated and passionate fighter against Islamophobia, meet on a plane bound for Qatar, they set off a series of events that bind them together. This modern-day love story may only span a week, but still manages to feel natural. Both Zayneb and Adam are complex characters, with their own struggles, flaws, family, relationship with religion and quirks, story arcs that don’t just relate to each other. Although the idea of “meeting-on-a-plane-falling-in-love” is a bit cliché, it works for this beautiful story. SPOILER ALERT: Fans of S.K. Ali’s debut novel Saints and Misfits will be overjoyed to see a brief cameo made by Janna and Sausun, via the Niqabi ninjas. Rating: 4.5/5

This book by S.K. Ali was so interesting! I liked the way the author formatted the story by making both main characters write small diaries of their days. I also very much enjoyed how it showed their perspectives and their thoughts about situations they get placed in like Zayneb’s issue with the woman on the airplane. In the beginning of the book when the character named Zayneb explained her experience with the woman on the airplane and her teacher, it related to today's problems with Racism. The author was able to make the audience feel the character’s experiences and put the reader in their shoes. I enjoyed reading their stories in their point of views. I strongly recommend this novel. I rate this novel a 9/10. :) @YoumnaLovesBooks of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

Love from A to Z is a romance and young adult fiction novel by S.K Ali. It’s a unique story of two Muslims teens Adam and Zayneb who fall in love with each other. The story goes over the reality of islamophobia and racism making the readers understand the pain and brutal reality which happens in the book and sadly our very own world. Adam and Zayneb meet on a flight to Doha where they just meet as strangers and soon become great friends after they both share their life stories with each other. Zayneb has been suspended from her school because she decided to take a stand against her Islamophobic teacher. To forget about the whole issue Zayneb decides to take a break from things occurring at her school and go stay with her aunt in Doha for two weeks. Where on the other hand Adam has hidden a huge secret from his father and sister that he has multiple sclerosis a medical issue that took the life of his mother. Both are hiding things from their loved ones which becomes a connection between them. I personally just love this book its one of my current favourites and Love from A to Z has also been nominated for the teen top novel 2019 week 4. This novel goes through pain and love and social issues such as islamophobia in a very beautiful manner with journal entries going deeply in the situations. I rate this novel a 5 out of 5 it was just wonderful. I really hope this book wins the teen top novel reward it really deserves it. @Bookalicious of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board

From TKB Teen Sophie: The author's writing style is unique in a great way. She describes things in unconventional ways and just created really interesting characters. She also did her research on the book's main topics and themes.

Ranging from the injustices of our modern world to the love story of two Muslim teenagers, this book encompasses topics of importance to our society today. Written in the form of two journals, this novel is narrated from first-person of both protagonists, revealing the raw, biased and uncensored thoughts of each young person.
