As a huge fan of Sophie Kinsella’s books, this stand alone was a must read for me. I must say, it didn't become a new favorite book or anything but it was a good read all together. The story revolves around twenty five year old Lexi Smart, after she got into an accident she wakes up in the hospital realizing she is 3 years into her future and things have changed, a lot. She is now 28 and doctors have told her she is suffering from amnesia, which is why she can’t remember anything that happened these past 3 years. Not only does she have straight teeth, but designer clothes, a really hot husband, and a gorgeous house. But there’s something about this new glamour’s life that’s been bugging Lexi, something about her new way of living just doesn't seem her. She wants to find out how so much changed in just three years, and the only person who has the answer for that is the really cute architect, who seems to be the only one who knows the real Lexi. This book was no exception to Sophie Kinsella’s other books; there were many jokes and mishaps as Lexi tries to come to terms with her new and glossy life. I really liked Lexi; she was such a likable protagonist simply because she was so easy to connect to because she was just so relatable. Even though this book was a very light hearted, quick summer read, I couldn't put it down because I truly wanted Lexi to have her happy ending, she really deserved it.
