Appreciate the diversity of reviews on this quirky romantic comedy. Enjoyed the taxi drivers' crazy talks, the French parents’ antics from the hippie era, dirty laundry with old flames, cultural clash with Parisians and the multifaceted bantering between the protagonists. The theme has the flavor of the 1995 “Before Sunrise” which Julie Delpy also starred in. The narrative just before the ending described why some people towards late 30s are still single and offered salient advice to end their cycle of failed relationships: “There's a moment in life where you can't recover any more from another break-up. And even if this person bugs you 60% of the time, you still can't live without him. And ...”
