Reading this novel was like watching a made for TV movie on the W TV network station. The author has her characters repeating info to each other which becomes boring for the reader. Her 2 female lead characters emote their feelings and inner thoughts voluminously. However, what got my interest was that her female character, the mom, takes the initiative to become the stalker, the killer of the person who abused her daughter. She even follows him and breaks into his house with burglar tools and fouls up his place like he did to hers. The story finally picks up the pace about 30 pages to the end as stalker and victim battle it out while the police, previously unable to take control of this situation, just wait around again hoping they will connect with these two.
