The Obamians

the Struggle Inside the White House to Redefined American Power

Despite its cartoon-like cover, this is a dead serious book about Obama's foreign policy. The author discusses problems and policies with various nations. There's an emphasis on discussing aides and advisors to the president and their role in developing policy as well as comparing Obama's decisions with those of his predecessors. The book is well-written and suitable for the layperson. However, it becomes heavy lifting after awhile to read foreign policy for 350 pages. I'd suggest buying the book and reading it a chapter at a time so it can be absorbed.
