In the concluding book in the fabulous trilogy by Elizabeth Wein, Rose Under Fire is about Rose Justice, a prisoner in a Nazi concentration camp. The book narrates what it was like to be living in a concentration camp, and how she managed to escape with her life. It tells of her friendship with other prisoners and how they managed to keep each other alive. This book was very good; however, it is incredibly sad, and horrific. I especially enjoyed the emphasis on the importance of friendship that the author gives the story. I would recommend this book for people to love war stories and stories of friendship. On a scale of one to five I would rate this book a four. Catherine, grade 9, of the Yorba Linda Teen Book Bloggers
