I really enjoyed this entry in the Rizzoli & Isles series from Tess Gerritsen. The last couple books in the series were good, but delved a bit into storylines that seemed a bit too supernatural in nature to honestly fit in well to the series. I enjoyed them, but they were a bit more unbelievable. With "Die Again," Gerritsen brings Rizzoli and Isles back on track into a more concrete world. This was a fast paced read that moved back and forth between a doomed safari trip 6 years earlier in Botswana and present-day Boston where a world famous taxidermist has been found dead, killed in the same manner as the big game he was tasked with stuffing. This novel twisted and turned and I found myself drawn in, especially into the tense scenes in the African bush. I think my only complaint would be the editing of the book in regards to Isle's birth mom. She plays a somewhat important role in the book, but she felt kind of randomly stuck into the book. I couldn't help but wonder if she was in the book more, but edited out. Overall, though, this was an entertaining read and I can't wait for the next one to come out.
