This was a pretty solid read for me. The escalating tensions between the story's two main characters--Miranda (the hostess) and Dawn (a 30-something who rented Miranda's vacation home)--drew me in. I genuinely wanted to get back to the book every time I set it down. I loved the exploration of social media and the Internet and how they've become such integral (and potentially destructive) parts of our lives. It was also interesting to see the differences in the online lives of the two women who came from different generations. I also enjoyed that the roles of protagonist and antagonist kind of varied based whoever had the upper hand. I took a star off my rating because the ending wasn't as twisty as I was hoping, but in truth I wasn't terribly disappointed by it either. I will check out more of Holly Brown's books.
