Five people, Addy, Bronwyn, Cooper, Simon, and Nate enter detention one day. But only four of them leave the room alive. Simon is murdered inside the detention room. Each of the others must find Simon’s killer, while not being implicated themselves. This book is one of the better mystery books I have read. The story is engaging, with enough twists to keep readers on their toes. The characters also have hidden depths to them that are revealed by the plot. Overall, it is a good book for teenage readers.
