• I try to read widely so that I can help all kinds of readers, though I do find myself gravitating toward:
• - Character-centric books
• - First-person narrators
• - Darkly atmospheric
• - Darker subject matter
• - "Literary" books
• - Absurd humor
• - Meta humor
• - "Guy books"
• - Graphic novels
• Concerning the rating scale below, sometimes I wonder if I'm not guilty of inflated scoring. It may be, but I instead like to think I'm selective about what I choose to read, avoiding the bad ones for the most part, and am generous about finding each book's appeal factors, rating it from the perspective of the target audience. My goal is to find good things to read and help you do the same.
