How Do I Use This Kit? Storytime kits are designed to be used with you and your early readers together! • Encourage them to creatively play with the toy, both on their own and with you. • Read one (or all) of the books together. Ask them questions about the book, especially ones that can’t be answered with “yes” or “no.” A great question to ask is “what do you think will happen next?” • Get up and dance and sing to the music with them. Encourage them to get their wiggles out and make some noise. • Have them draw a picture of something they saw or read about in the kit. • Let them experience the books on their own, even if it’s just holding them. Remember, encouraging your child to talk, sing, read, write, and play every day will help them to become a great reader!
