Great sequel to "Ruins of Gorlan." In this book we get to see Will and Horace step a little bit outside of their apprenticeships and see how they are on their own. Readers also get to meet new characters and learn more about old ones. A few lines here and there haven't aged that well, but many will be able to look past them. One of my favorite middle-grade fantasy books. Great cast of characters (though it leans very heavily toward a boy audience) and good pace to keep you wanting to read more. A really well-done documentary about a really great person who had a really inspiring dream. It was interesting to see how the show began and the course it took throughout the years and what everyone had to say about Mr. Rogers. If you're looking for an action movie about a father protecting his daughter this one fits the bill. But it fell a little flat. Admittedly, it did take a while to finish (I typically watch a little of a movie each morning before I go to work) because I never really had an urge to get back to it. Jason Statham is Jason Statham (which isn't bad if you like him, which I do) but James Franco did a really good job. Should you run right out and see this now? No. Fan of any of the aforementioned actors and/or looking for a basic action movie? Give it a try. A fun (albeit violent) standalone Deadpool arc. I have a macabre interest in the fights Deadpool gets into with his fellow Marvel heroes/villains. If you've read the original Deadpool "Kill-ology" then you should pick this one up as well.

Very solid debut and first book in a new series. It was fun to read an Urban Fantasy novel steeped in Native American mythos. There were a few instances where I got kind of lost and wasn't sure how the characters ended up where they ended up, but it was still enjoyable to read. I haven't read the manga nor watched the anime, but I still enjoyed this adaptation. Maybe that's WHY I enjoyed it...hard to say. How they filmed the titans was pretty neat and it definitely created a sense of dread and despair. I don't really know if I'll watch part 2, but I think fans of the manga/anime should check it out. I saw a preview for "The Equalizer 2" and thought it looked awesome. I then realized I had never seen the first one. It did not disappoint. It had great action and great acting and was a fun vengeance movie. The main character is definitely a "Larry Stu" kind of character, but I love those.
